A Pennsylvania woman who became fixated with a law enforcement officer who arrested her last year is in jail again after bashing her way into a police station early Monday.

Ashley Keister, 27, became so enamored with the unnamed cop that she would call 911 repeatedly to talk to him, according to West Wyoming Police Chief Curt Nocera.

Nocera said that after a week of harassing the officer, Keister showed up at the police station Friday night looking for the cop, then attempted to contact him through social media 20 times Saturday night. Nocera intervened on his officer’s behalf and got Keister to agree to cease and desist.

“She signed a statement form saying she’d leave him alone at about 6 p.m. Sunday,” Nocera said.

But just before 1 a.m., Keister returned and unsuccessfully tried pounding her way through a locked glass door. She then threw a cigarette butt receptacle through the door and made her way inside. When officers attempted to detain Keister, she allegedly started swinging at them.

Nocera did not name the officer Keister was trying to find, but did say “he was a little shaken up” after the incident.

According to Nocera, Keister and the officer had no relationship outside her arrest in May, which occurred after the Nanticoke, Pa., woman violated a Protection From Abuse order issued to a former domestic partner.

Keister is now charged with aggravated assault, harassment and criminal mischief. She’s being held on $50,000 bail.
