Police department in Vermont has some Christmas fun with speed radar signs

He’s making a list, he’s checking it twice — he’s gonna find out who’s speeding tonight.

Creative cops in Chester, Vt., said they have put the fear of Santa into Christmastime car drivers, putting up speed radar signs that tell motorists if they’re “naughty” or “nice.”

Police in the quaint southern Vermont town cracked in a Facebook post Wednesday that they “received a request direct from the North Pole,” to make sure autos stick to the posted 30 mph max on the road.

The cops also shared images of the radar flashing its judgments.

The naughty-or-nice sign is one of five in the tiny town, Detective Adam Woodell told the Boston Globe.
