A police officer in Tennessee has women swooning following his appearance in a recent PSA about a new hands-free driving law.
Knoxville PD Officer Derrick White was featured in a new video explaining the Hands Free Law, which took effect on July 1. The new law will effectively ban holding one’s phone while driving.
White cited that “24,000 crashes” related to distracted driving took place in Tennessee last year, and that it has one of the highest death rates in that category.
While it is unknown if the message got across, female fans of the officer were less than subtle about their lust for him.
If the only way to meet officer white is to text and drive then you already know what I’m doing

“Officer White, I will throw my phone into a river if that’s what it takes for a date with you,” Lydia Harvey tweeted.
“What days and where does Officer White work?” Kiersten Dunaway asked. “I need him to personally explain this new law to me, please.”

According to Fox News, White is an eight year veteran of the department, who switches roles between motor unit and being a school resource officer, depending on whether or not school is in session.
