A shirtless man roaming through the Missouri side of Kansas City with a life-sized doll has been asked not to carry it around in public after multiple motorists confused the figure for an incapacitated woman.
Police responded to the bizarre sight late Tuesday morning after receiving numerous calls of what appeared to be a man attempting to throw a woman off a bridge.
“Multiple officers responded quickly,” a police statement said. They found the man, and what they encountered was totally unexpected.”
The Kansas City Police gathered a few photos and had fun with them on social media.
“And here is today’s episode of ‘Not What We Expected Going Into That.’” the agency tweeted.

The man had reportedly found the doll in a dumpster, and was told by authorities not to carry it about. No arrests were made.
