A Florida man who runs a fleet of vehicles equipped with purple and amber lights to lead funerals has been arrested for the second time in less than a month for impersonating a police officer.
According to CBS Miami, James Dewitte was caught speeding through traffic and yelling at drivers while having using his lights illegally.
In the body cam video, Dewitte is heard arguing with the officer saying, “Listen f***** I know what I’m allowed to do and what I’m not allowed to do.”
Dewitte was arrested last month after he shut down a section of I-95 in Volusia County while escorting a line of corvettes.
In September, his group illegally blocked an intersection and slapped an off-duty deputy during an altercation after the deputy tried to get Dewitte to stop blocking the road.
According to Florida law, companies like Dewitte’s can lead funerals, but can not block intersections, pull people over, stop traffic, or carry weapons.
