A county law enforcement agency in California has released dashcam footage surrounding an officer-involved shooting in Redwood Valley.
Suspect Joseph Anthony Corral was parked when he was approached by Mendocino County deputies, who had been called to the area after being informed of the presence of a drunk pedestrian.
Without warning, Corral produced a handgun and fired a round at the deputies, forcing the deputies to return fire.
Crawling out of the back of the vehicle, Corral was tased before being taken into custody.
According to WEAR, the shooting took place on October 10.
