The doors stolen from the Warren Police Department’s Humvee in July were recovered and charges will be filed against the person who took them, according to police.

The Warren Patrolman’s Association said the doors were located and returned. Police did not release the suspect’s name but said charges will be filed in court.

“Stealing anything from anyone is a bad idea,” the association said in a Facebook post. “Stealing from the Cops is an even worse idea.”

The doors of the Humvee were discovered stolen on July 12. The vehicle was parked in the town municipal lot across from the Cornerstone Bank on Main Street.

Authorities were looking for a person driving a white pickup truck at the time. Surveillance cameras were in the area.

Sturbridge police, Massachusetts State Police and surveillance from residents helped find the suspect, according to police.
