Warrant Needed For GPS Tracking, Supreme Court Says

In a unanimous decision, the US Supreme Court ruled Monday, that Law Enforcement Officers need a warrant prior to placing a GPS tracking device on a vehicle.  The court ruled that placing the GPS device on a vehicle was a search.  This was the court’s first ruling in regards to GPS devices.  For up-to-date news accounts of this story, photos, videos and to post comments, please access the links.
