Florida’s 3rd Circuit State Attorney Robert “Skip” Jarvis has announced that he is dropping his bid for reelection in order to prevent a Grand Jury hearing of allegations that he used FCIC, NCIC, and DAVID databases to check on opponents and others for personal reasons.  Jarvis reached the deal with Special Prosecutor Brad King of Ocala, who had been appointed to investigate the allegations by Governor Rick Scott.  Jarvis has been with the State Attorney’s Office for 28 years, the last 4 as State Attorney.  For up-to-date news accounts of this story, photos and to post a comment, please access the links below:
