Source: Fired Pinellas Deputies Were To Be Suspended, Not Fired

According to news reports, a source is saying that the Administrative Review Board or ARB, that heard the case of the 4 deputies fired for ‘extreme loafing’ actually voted to suspend the deputies for 5 days, not fire the deputies.  The Sheriff changed the punishment to termination.  It is also being reported that the 4 deputies are supporters of the Sheriff’s opponent in the upcoming election.  For up-to-date news accounts of this story, photos and to post a comment, please access the links below:

Wow! The media can talk and print anything they want, but make a few comments about Everett Rice on leoaffairs that are 100% !!! accurate and factual and get banned for 2 weeks! It’s actually funny that the administrator tipped his hand like that to show this site supports Rice and that this is not a forum for the” voice of law enforcement”.

This site does not support either candidate. You were banned for making improper allegations about a person. It doesn’t matter who those comments were made about, you would of been banned making those allegations against anybody.
