Sheriff’s Deputy Charged With Stealing While Evicting Tenants

A Cook County, IL Sheriff’s Deputy has been arrested by federal agents and charged with stealing from a residence where he was evicting the tenants from.  Complaints followed Deputy Samuel Spino for years that items were stolen while he and his team members were evicting tenants from their residences.  Cook County officials requested assistance from the FBI and a sting was set up.  Spino was videotaped stealing $1100 from a residence while he was evicting the tenants.  For up-to-date news accounts of this story, photos and to post a comment, please access the links below:
