Lee County Sheriff Mike Scott gave out bonuses to his employees on Wednesday.  That is, as long as they were not part of either of the two unions at the department.  Out of 1469 employees, 506 of them did not receive bonuses due to their involvement with the unions.  Scott sent out an email telling employees that those employees that were not involved with the unions would get a bonus, while those who were, would not.  For up-to-date news accounts of this story, photos and to post a comment, please access the links below:
