Pickens, SC Police Officer Michael Jordan McClatchy who was fired after he wrote on a South Carolina Gamecocks blog that he had written Clemson Head Football Coach Dabo Swinney a speeding ticket is now speaking out. McClatchy had stopped Swinney for going 63 in a 35 and issued him a citation. He then used a department computer and while working blogged about it on the Gamecock’s blog. I bet you a million dollars that the Chief and everyone else in this officers chain of command have used a department computer for something personal, that had nothing to do with their duties while working. Sounds like this poor officers administration is a bunch of hypocrites. This also doesn’t sound like progressive discipline was used, sounds more like politics and kissing some Clemson behind.
