Fired officer says that he was wrongfully terminated

 

Pickens, SC Police Officer Michael Jordan McClatchy who was fired after he wrote on a South Carolina Gamecocks blog that he had written Clemson Head Football Coach Dabo Swinney a speeding ticket is now speaking out.  McClatchy had stopped Swinney for going 63 in a 35 and issued him a citation.  He then used a department computer and while working blogged about it on the Gamecock’s blog.  For up-to-date news accounts of this story, photos and to post a comment, please access the links below:

    I bet you a million dollars that the Chief and everyone else in this officers chain of command have used a department computer for something personal, that had nothing to do with their duties while working. Sounds like this poor officers administration is a bunch of hypocrites. This also doesn’t sound like progressive discipline was used, sounds more like politics and kissing some Clemson behind.
