San Francisco Sheriff Pleads Guilty To Misdemeanor Domestic Violence False Imprisonment

San Francisco Sheriff Ross Mirkarimi plead guilty today to one misdemeanor count of false imprisonment.  Mirkarimi will not face any jail time, but will have to serve 3 years probation, 100 hours of community service, and 52 weeks of counseling.  The state is dropping the other charges.  For up-to-date news accounts of this story, photos and to post a comment, please access the links below:
