Wednesday night the Republican hopefuls for Sheriff of Pasco County faced off against each other in a Candidate’s Forum. Roger Fortney and Maurice Radford both pitted their long term law enforcement experience against Chris Nocco’s limited law enforcement experience and vast political connections. Nocco didn’t refute his challenger’s claims about staying at any one place only a short time, but claimed that he was planning on staying in Pasco for a long time. Nocco also said that if voters thought that his appointment to Sheriff by Governor Rick Scott was political they could vote against him.
