The Wellesley Police Department gave Nathan Norman, a five-year-old Virginia resident battling advanced cancer, a miniature replica of a Wellesley police cruiser
More than 250 police officers formed a caravan of police vehicles that stretched over 3 miles and traveled over 700 miles from Burlington, VT to Lynchburg, VA. Their mission? To bring gifts and cards to a very sick little boy whose heroes are police officers and firefighters. One agency even brought a miniature version of their cruiser that can be driven by the boy.
