Police watching demonstrators in at RNC in Tampa
With over 3,000 police officers and National Guard troops patrolling the downtown area of Tampa, is it a city occupied or secure? With the Republican National Convention in town, no expense was spared in providing law enforcement for the event, to prevent repeats of the riots of the 2oo8 RNC in St. Paul, MN. It seems to be paying off. So far there have only been 2 arrests in Tampa and the number of protesters is lower than anticipated.
