Palm Bay Police Officer James Bearden was shot Saturday as he and Officer Shane Carroll attempted to arrest Mark Clark on an arrest warrant. The officers chatted with Clark briefly on the carport before he retreated into the home, where he retrieved a handgun and shot Officer Bearden in the face.
