Miami Police Arrest Secret Service Agent For Disorderly Conduct After Passing Out Drunk On Sidewalk

In another blow to the image of the Secret Service, an Agent was arrested in Miami Friday morning after Miami Police found him passed out on a sidewalk.  Agent Aaron Francis Engler was charged with Disorderly Conduct and Resisting Arrest Without Violence, both misdemeanors.  Police found Engler drunk and passed out on a sidewalk after President Barack Obama had left Miami.  They attempted to wake him, and as they went to pat him down, he became combative and was arrested.  For up-to-date news accounts of this story, photos and to post a comment, please access the links below:

    It may be considered a “distinction without a difference” but Engler is NOT a Special Agent of the Secret Service. He is a Uniformed Division Officer. An ABC news report at
