The FBI is investigating Buffalo Police Officers to determine if some of them have been accepting bribes to give towing business to certain towing companies. The police department has no formal policy determining what towing companies can or will tow cars from accident scenes. Sometimes numerous towing companies will show up at a scene and it is up to the officer to determine who will tow the cars.
