Pinellas County Sheriff Candidates
Tuesday night the candidates for Pinellas County Sheriff faced off for their final debate before the August 16th primaries. Former multi-term Sheriff Everett Rice and Sheriff Bob Gualtieri who was appointed to finish former Sheriff Jim Coats’ term, accused each other of lying in their flyers mailed out to voters. Scott Swope a former Deputy, jumped on the recent scandals in the Sheriff’s Office, and why they were concentrating on marijuana when Pinellas has such a serious problem with pill mills.
