Miami-Dade Detectives are receiving counseling and some are losing their take home cars for a month. This is the punishments being handed down for their speeding on duty and off duty in their department issued cars. The discipline come after a South Florida newspaper did an investigation into police speeding after Florida Highway Patrol Trooper Donna Jane Watts stopped Miami Police Officer Fausto Lopez for speeding in his marked police car.
