St Augustine Beach Police Chief Richard Hedges
The St Augustine City Commission voted unanimously to suspend the Chief of Police after 10 out of 14 officers in St. Augustine Beach signed a report and turned it in to the city commissioners alleging that the Chief and Assistant Chief of Police have committed ‘illegal or immoral’ activities. These are experienced veteran officers that signed the 50 page report. The officers are requesting that the Chief and Assistant Chief resign.
