What is next? I have worked three years as a Fl. State Wildlife Officer, five years as a Pensacola Police Officer & twenty years as a Criminal Defense Investigator with the Public Defender’s Office 1st Circuit. I have seen the system from both sides, prosecution and defense: Was the deputy operating his vehicle in a reckless manner or could another officer’s interpretation of the F.S.S. been nothing more than excessive speed. I know I would have Never Treated the deputy with such disgrace. Hope F.H.P. could understand why there would be a slow response for backup from a county agency. Got enough really violent issues for law enforcement you all do not need this. This reminds me of a statement from a U.S.Fish & Wildlife Officer. He told me he had a meeting with an organized crime figure, who told him you know why we are successful and law enforcement is not, because we stick together and you all do not !!!!!!!!
